GURS @ AUA Speakers

Dr. Dmitriy Nikolavsky is a Professor of Urology, a Director of Reconstructive Urology and Transgender Care GURS Fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY. Dr. Nikolavsky has earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his Residency in Urology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He completed Fellowship in Reconstructive Urology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Nikolavsky is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), the Societe Internationale d’Urologie (SIU), World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), International Society of Reconstructive Urology (ISORU), and Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS), where he was elected to the Board of Directors in May 2019. In 2019 Dr. Nikolavsky was elected to the Board of Directors a Young Urologist Member of the Northeastern Section of the American Urological Association. Since 2017 Dr. Nikolavsky is serving as a Course Director at the annual AUA meeting for the course titled “What a General Urologist Needs to Know about Care for Transgender Patients”.
